Will I see my map before it prints?

Yes. Every custom map gets a proof within 24 hours. Nothing prints until you approve it, and changes are free.

How long does it take?

Printing takes 2-4 business days after you approve the proof, then 1-5 days to ship. Shipping is free in the US.

What is it printed on?

Archival matte paper with fade-resistant inks, or real metallic gold or silver foil. Framed prints come in black, white, walnut or oak with a white mat; foil prints frame in black.

Where does the map come from?

Every road and waterway comes from the US Census Bureau's public TIGER/Line data. The preview on this site uses OpenStreetMap data, so tiny differences can show up; your proof shows the real print.

Can I return it?

Personalized maps can't be returned. If a print arrives damaged or misprinted, send a photo and we'll replace it free.

What happens to my address?

It is used only to place the map. It is never printed unless you ask, and never shared.
